My Review:

Positive Points:

1) Realistic plot: Yes, Being an Indian you will be very well aware about the fact that, falling in love and staying with the one you love is altogether a different thing. Hence, I would like to say, this novel shows us a dark side of the society in context of caste and religion.

2) Story line: I would give 5 out of 5 to the author for selecting such a mind joggling topic. Moreover, flow of the story was like cheery on the cake. I was never bored while reading this tale. I think, that’s one of the best compliment an author can get.

3) Narration:  I would like to congratulate author, for being a brilliant narrator. It’s all because of her writing skills, I could sense the feelings like love, pain, misery while reading the tale. I could imagine Aisha and Raghav. “Something that’s written by heart, surely touches the other heart.”

Special Mention: Throughout the story, author tried to depict the point that no matter what we do, think and plan. There’s nothing that can be done or said in front of God’s will. The way this point is shown and proven by author is appreciable.

Negative Points:

I didn’t find anything negative as such to mention it here.

Conclusion:

Shikha Kaul does wonders with her story-telling skills. I was lost in the world of the protagonists for almost the entire day. Very remarkably crafted characters and truly a heart wrenching story hidden husband is. And how beautifully the epilogue has been written!

I want you to pick up this book, as I’m sure, Hidden husband will surely sneak into your heart. I loved it to the core and I’m sure this tale will touch your heart too!
